Frequently Asked Questions

What the FAQ?

Q: Can't I do these myself?

Absolutely! In fact, DM me and I'll tell you exactly what's in my kit. But...

It’s not about the gear. Recording is only 20% of the work. The real effort happens before and after you hit record, in the thinking behind the message and the clarity of the final edit. It’s about taking a complex idea and telling it simply, in a way which people want to watch. That’s what 15 years of storytelling for brands like Pret and JUST EAT taught me.

If you’re already getting your message across, amazing. Keep going! But if your videos don’t hit like you do in real life, or if showing up as yourself on camera feels harder than it should, let’s chat. I’ll help you make videos that feel like you and hit just as hard as you do in person.

Q: Aren't videos expensive?

Some are! But we're not shooting the next Avengers film here...

I use a simple iPhone setup that captures the real energy of you and those around you. It feels more natural, looks great, and yes, costs less. iPhones are familiar, low-pressure, and deliver incredible quality for the kind of short-form content people actually watch. Hey, if The Weeknd and Selena Gomez can shoot music videos on iPhones, there’s no reason we can’t do this too.

With our monthly plan, you're paying less per video than most pay for a blog. And unlike those £5k–£20k productions that look slick but rarely get watched, our videos are built to feel real, build trust, and connect every time you post.

Q: Wouldn’t scripting make me sound robotic?

Scripting gets a bad rap because most come off so unnaturally.

But not when I write them. I have your voice, tone and goals accounted for. So it'll sound like you, not like you-reading-a-teleprompter. And if there's something in the script that's not how you'd say it, change it. I'm not precious. The script’s just a guide to shape your big ideas into sharp, authentic videos.

My take it that it’s better to script. Because you've had time to plan your dialogue, your message has a far greater chance of coming across well. But if you prefer a looser feel, we can go interview style. Or both.
